How much does a session cost?
Psychotherapy is charged at R1500 per hour. Fees for psycho-forensic evaluations, mediation, parenting coordination and divorce coaching depend on the scope of the work and are quoted on request.

What are Prescribed Minimum Benefits?
PMBs are a set of conditions that South African medical schemes are required by law to cover regardless of your plan or whether your day-to-day benefits are exhausted. Certain mental health conditions are included. Whether your circumstances qualify is determined by your scheme.
Which services are not covered by medical aid?
Psycho-forensic evaluations, mediation, parenting coordination and divorce coaching are not covered by medical aids. These are legal and quasi-legal services rather than treatment, and schemes do not fund them.
